Dental Bonding Procedure
The bonding procedure is very conservative and can be reversible sometimes depending on the situation. The procedure utilizes composite resins that bond to the area in need of treatment.
Fractured Teeth- Tooth colored dental composite is often bonded in place to restore the chipped or missing area of the tooth.
Discolored Teeth- Discolored teeth can often be camouflaged by a layer of composite resin to cover a discolored surface.
Spaces Between Teeth- Bonding can often be used to close gaps in between the front teeth in order to give a more aesthetic appearance.
Peg Teeth- Dental bonding can be used to "Build" a Peg tooth (genetically smaller than normal) to full width and length.
Crowded Teeth- We can sometimes use dental bonding in order to treat a tooth that is stuck behind the others by adding to the front surface and bring it out into the arch.
